Wikicarspedia – Recently Hyundai Motor Company launched the latest concept car of pure electric power “Prophecy “. The design of this concept model is quite unique with a strong sports car nuance. At first glance, the design line resembles the Porsche 911 or Tesla Model 3. South Korean manufacturers claim the new design of this concept car reveals the latest design philosophy of Hyundai, Sensuous Sportiness.
“We’ve turned on another icon that sets a new standard for electric car segments as well as pushing the wider vision of Hyundai design,” says SangYup Lee, head of Hyundai’s Global design Center, as quoted from Netcarshow.com, recently.
“Part of that expansion is what we call Optimistic Futurism, a design concept embodied by ‘ Prophecy ‘. With Futurism Optimistic, our goal is to establish an emotional connection between humans and cars. “

This Model has a design that reflects a high level of aerodynamics. The front is lower and tapered with wide air lattices extending in the Grill section. The integrated rear spoiler complements this effect by utilizing a downforce that aids in the stability of the vehicle while moving at high speeds.
The Model has four doors, of which the construction is made against the direction of the door on the Rolls-Royce Phantom.
“Prophecy” also uses self-driving technology. Instead of a steering wheel, joysticks offer a completely new but reassuring, familiar and intuitive driving experience. By offering two joysticks that can rotate left and right, one in the center console and another on the door trim, drivers are able to control the vehicle from a comfortable position. In addition, drivers have access to a wide range of features, which can be selected via the built-in joystick buttons. Ultimately, this human-machine interface improves passenger safety.
Design changes that have been enabled by the use of joysticks offer greater visual freedom to passengers. In Relax mode, passengers have virtually zero visual obstacles. In a conveniently reclined position, all passengers see is the point-to-pillar horizontal display and wing-shaped dashboard. In this mode, the dashboard rotates, allowing a spacious internal position and the seat from which passengers are able to enjoy the content shown on the display.
With “Prophecy”, Hyundai created an indoor environment in which eco-friendly design and material selection were combined to demonstrate the company’s vision for electric vehicles of the future. The external sockets at the bottom of the side doors allow air to circulate through clean air technology, providing a constant flow of purified air inside the vehicle. In addition, the treated air is remade in the atmosphere as clean air.
The flow of clean air on the wool-based felt carpet of the interior is inspired by the flow of water in nature. The colours and materials of the interior force passengers to decompress, aided by low-intensity ambient lighting, while delicately modulated colors encourage rest and relaxation.
The name “Prophecy” reflects the purpose of the concept, as it means a bright future for both Hyundai projects and innovative mobility solutions for tomorrow’s EV customers.
Not much technical information from this car, however, Hyundai Prophecy Concept will become one of the icon of the future sports car manufacturer from South Korea.
